Swedish guitarist who rose to fame in the mid 1990s for his work with the gothic doom metal band Katatonia. In 1998, he joined the death metal band Bloodbath. From 1996 to 2001, he released four albums under his solo black metal project Diabolical Masquerade.
He got into heavy metal when he was in elementary school. On March 9, 2013, he posted a photo to Facebook of his 9-year-old self decked out in heavy metal attire.
