Best known as the sidekick to Conan O'Brien on Conan's late night talk shows. His film credits include Scary Movie 2, Talladega Nights and Elf. He also provided the voice of Mort in the Madagascar film franchise.

He has children named william and Mercy with Sarah Thyre, whom he married in 2004.
