Actor and singer who originated the role of Mark Cohen in the Broadway production of Rent, later reprising his role in the 2005 film adaptation. He also played the title character in the revival of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown.
He attended Interlochen Arts Camp in Michigan, studying drama, and graduated from Joliet West High School in Illinois.
