Belgian ceramist, designer and Sculptor associated with the renewal of ceramic art in Post-War Europe.
He took up art in 1948, focusing on drawing, book illustration, and wood carving.
He also did industrial design and got involved in the World Crafts Council (WCC).
He and his wife lived in France.
He and Sam Dillemans are both from Belgium.
