NHL defender who made back-to-back Stanley Cup Finals appearances with the New York Rangers in 2014 and with the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2015.
He was selected 216th overall in the 2005 NHL Draft by the Toronto Maple Leafs.
He was traded twice during the 2009 offseason, first from the Maple Leafs to the Calgary Flames, and then a few months later from the Flames to the Columbus Blue Jackets.
He was born in Tibro, Sweden.
