Hawaiian singer-songwriter known for the release of her debut self-titled album in 2009. The following year she took two Na Hoku Hanohano awards for Most Promising Artist and Contemporary Album of the Year. Her second album, For Love, was funded by her fans through Kickstarter and released in 2012.
She taught herself to play guitar while attending boarding school. She was always thirsty for the spotlight, working as an anchor for her school news, hosting variety shows for local television stations, and performing in school musicals.
In 2006, she competed in the Miss Maui Scholarship Pageant and took both 2nd Runner up and the Miss Congeniality award.
She has two younger brothers and one younger sister. In 2013, she gave birth to her son Ikena Jack.
At the 2010 Kokua Festival, she shared the stage with stars like Jack Johnson and Ziggy Marley.
