Aparshakti Khurana started his career working as a RJ and then switched to TV as an anchor. He worked with Big FM Delhi as RJ. He got an offer for the film Dangal, which is directed by Nitesh Tiwari and acted by Aamir Khan as a lead actor of the film. He has got a side role of cousin to the lead in the film from where he did his debut on Christmas 2016. He has acted in Badrinath Ki Dulhania as well. Apart from this film, he has also signed up for another film called Babbu Ki Baraat. He also hosted Super Night with Tubelight, a television special, which was aired on 17 June 2017 on Sony TV. He is currently seen as host on Star Bharat's religious musical show Om Shanti Om. He has also worked in a webseries for Voot called Yo Ke Hua Bro co-starring with him were Ridhima Pandit and Shamita Shetty
