English goalie and player-coach known for his career throughout the lower tiers of English soccer. He joined Wycombe Wanderers in 2014 as a coach and, in 2016, played in his first game in nearly a decade.
He grew up playing for Wallsend Boys Club before joining Sunderland in 1988, although he did not make an appearance with the team, which was then in Division 2.
He played for the likes of Doncaster, Lincoln City, and Northampton Town. He coached at Nottingham Forest, at the time in the Championship, from 2008 to 2009.
He grew up in Wallsend, England.
He and Adebayo Akinfenwa have both played at Doncaster.
