Actor and singer best known for his Broadway debut as Davey in the stage adaptation of Newsies. He also was also made popular for starring as Ernst in the first national tour of Spring Awakening.
Ironically, one of his first roles was in a makeshift production of Newsies as Crutchie while he attended theater day camp as a child.
He was cast in the original production of Newsies at the Paper Mill Playhouse in 2011.
Though he was born in Zurich, Switzerland, he was raised in Cleveland, Ohio. He later pursued his theatre career in New York City. He has an older brother.
His co-star Andrew Keenan-Bolger stars as his childhood role Crutchie in Newsies.
