Slalom alpine skier who took the gold at the 2008 Junior World Championships. She would go on to represent Austria in the 2014 Olympics.
She made her World Cup debut in March 2008 in Bormio, Italy.
In 2009, she took the silver in the Slalom category at the Junior World Championships.
She is one of three children born to Josef and Rosi Schild. In 2016, she married her trainer Armin Wierer.
She is the younger sister of champion skier Marlies Schild.
