New Zealander field hockey player who is recognized for having competed for his native country in both the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympic games.
He earned his first cap playing for The Black Sticks in 2004.
He competed in the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland.
His brother Hayden Shaw also played for New Zealand's national team.
Both he and fellow athlete Shaun Johnson were born in New Zealand.
