Singer and Songwriter who is known for her debut EP, Turns to Gold, and its lead single, "After the Heartbreak." The former was released to iTunes on November 21, 2014 following the August 6, 2013 release of the latter.
She began singing at age 5. She was a senior in high school when she embarked on her professional singing career.
In 2012, she appeared on the reality singing competition series American Idol. She reached the Top 16 before being eliminated. She also maintains her own eponymous YouTube channel, where she often posts her own covers of famous songs.
She was born in Staten Island, New York. She was subsequently raised there by her parents Bill and Camille.
She participated on American Idol alongside Phillip Phillips, who was the eventual winner of the show's 11th season.
