Famous as a member of the Norwegian comedy group Fast Men, he appeared with his collaborators Oyvind Rafto and Anders Hoff on the Norwegian television program I Kveld Med YLVIS (Tonight with Ylvis). For his work with Fast Men, he won Norwegian Comedy Awards in both 2005 and 2010.
After serving in the Norwegian Navy, he studied journalism at the University of Bergen.
He starred as Lasse in the 2006 comedy feature Kalde Fotter.
He was born and raised in Bergen, Norway.
He and Anders Nilsen are both well known Norwegian comedians.
