Defender who played for PSV from 2006 to 2010 and began his second stint with Guadalajara in 2014. He became a member of the Mexican national team in 2004.
He debuted professionally for Guadalajara in 2001.
He helped the Mexican national team win the CONCACAF Gold Cup in 2011 as well as the gold medal at the Olympics in 2012.
He was born in Ocotlan, Mexico.
