Famous for her teenage role as Emilie in the 2011 Steven Spielberg film War Horse, she went on to portray Sigi in the 2015 movie The Man in the Box.
After attending several day schools in London, England, she began a degree in history at the London School of Economics.
She went through only two audition rounds before being cast in War Horse.
Born Amelie Margaret Celine Buckens in Brussels, Belgium, she later relocated to London, England. She is bilingual speaking both French and English.
Her War Horse castmates include Jeremy Irvine, Emily Watson, and Benedict Cumberbatch.
