Pharma tycoon Chirayu Amin's Alembic Pharmaceuticals is one of India's oldest pharma companies, founded by his grandfather in 1907 to make tincture and alcohol. Today, Alembic gets half of its $478 million revenue from the domestic market selling a range of generic drugs, including popular cough syrup Glycodin. It's now aiming to launch about 30 products in the U.S. over the next 3 years. His 3 sons work with him. Amin is the brother-in-law of billionaire Harsh Mariwala.
