She played Sue in the BBC's award-winning sitcom Outnumbered and also played Clare in the British TV comedy Life Begins.
She studied at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and got her first role in a production of Hanky Park at the Oldham Repertory Theatre.
While she mostly preferred stage roles, she also played Lucinda, the sous chef, on the first season of Chef!
She married television Director Charles Palmer.
