She attended George Washington University. After graduating, she worked at the The Washington Post Sunday magazine.
She's also worked at The New York Times and Slate and published the book The Perfectly Imperfect Home: How to Decorate & Live Well in 2011.
She married Jacob Weisberg, with whom she has two children.
She and Emily Schuman both worked at Domino magazine.
