Half of the Ant & Dec duo who hosted I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here and Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway. He shared the Best Entertainment Presenter and Best Entertainment Award with his partner, Anthony McPartlin.
He became known as part of the pop duo, PJ & Duncan on TV's Byker Grove after graduating from St. Michael's Roman Catholic Primary School and St. Cuthbert's High School.

He is the son of Anne and Alphonsus Donnelly; he has six older siblings named Dermott, Moira, Camelia, Eamonn, Patricia, and Martin. In 2015, he married Ali Astall. They announced they were expecting their first child together in March of 2018.
