Known for his political Service in Rhodesia (later re-named Zimbabwe), this British anti-communist Activist headed the International Monarchist League and also led charitable organizations such as the Good Hope Christian Group and the Zimbabwe-Rhodesia Relief Fund.
In his early adulthood years, he participated in Protestant missionary work in the southern region of Africa. After relocating to Rhodesia, he began serving in the country's legislative assembly as a member of the Rhodesian Front party.
In the late 1980s, he began working for the London branch of the British Institute of Management.
After spending many years on the African continent, he settled in Hertfordshire and Essex, England, with his wife and son.
When the country of Zimbabwe was created and Robert Mugabe took power, Walker (who was, at the time, serving as Deputy Chairman of Parliamentary Committees in Zimbabwe), escaped to England to avoid being arrested by Mugabe's regime.
