Devendra Jain was born on July 30, 1962 in Delhi, India, India. Devendra Jain started working in his family's paper and newsprint trading business at age 18. He now presides over the $ 2 billion (revenue) Inox Group with interests in industrial gases, fluorocarbons, cinema multiplexes and cryogenic engineering. Listed wind energy arm Inox Wind, run by grandson Devansh, has a capacity of 1,600 megawatts. The group is now better known for its nationwide chain of 116 multiplexes.
