Brazilian taekwondo fighter who won a gold medal at the Pan American Games in 2007. He has also represented Brazil at the 2004 and 2012 Olympic Games.
He grew up in Londrina and was inspired to practice taekwondo by action movie stars like Jet Li.
He is an avid fan of extreme Sports, participating in parachuting, bunjee-jumping and tree-climbing.
His mother encouraged him to join a martial arts academy to keep him from getting into fights on the street.
He cites Jackie Chan as an inspiration.
