His first ambition was to be a professional hockey star and he played for a minor league Utah team called the Golden Eagles for two years before sustaining a career-ending shoulder injury.
He also owns a small Retail chain of Sports nutrition stores in Arizona called House of Fitness.
His family is from the Spokane region, but his father's job meant they moved around a lot when he was a child, and that's how he ended up settling in Arizona. He also has a Yorkshire terrier named Zoey.
