Italian outside hitter who played for her country at the 2000 Summer Olympics. Two years later, she led them to their first World Championship, winning tournament MVP in the process.
She started playing volleyball with Volley Modena in 1994 and first played for Italy's national team in 1999.
She played internationally until 2006, having earned more than 300 caps. She also won silver medals at the 2001 and 2005 European Championships.
She was born to Guerrino and Giulia Togut.
She and Paola Paggi were teammates on Italy's 2002 World Championship team.
