The show gets its name from the inherent risk of serious injury or even death associated with this sport. Elliott Neese is the youngest captain in the fleet portrayed on Deadliest Catch, but he has plenty of experience at sea. He began fishing at age 12, and by the age of 19 was running his first cod boat.
