Outfielder who is widely known for his career in the baseball Minor Leagues and independent leagues. In May 2011, he played alongside his brother Elvis for the first time as part of a Major League Baseball team with the Texas Rangers.
He was signed by the New York Yankess during his teenage years directly out of Venezuela. He was later traded to the Tampa Bay Rays, where he played in their minor league system.
He has played alongside his brother on the same Venezuelan Winter League team Magallanes.
His brother earned the starting shortstop job for the Texas Rangers at the age of 20. He is four years older than his brother Elvis.
His brother Elvis Andrus earned his first All-Star selection in his first full season in 2010.
