Former French racing Cyclist who won 5 World Championships in the 1990s. She also won three Olympic Gold medals, two in the sprint event and one in the 500 meter time trial.
She began her athletic career as both a Cyclist and a handball player.
She set world records for the fastest 500 meter time trial six times throughout her career.
She married Benoit Vetu and the couple has two children together.
She won gold at the 2000 Olympics where Runner Marion Jones also took home the gold.
