After playing for the Miami Dolphins from 1988 until 1992, this NFL tight end played one season with the Seattle Seahawks. Over the course of his career, he scored twelve touchdowns and was responsible for 148 receptions and 1,894 receiving yards.

He was born in South Boston, Virginia, and he graduated from high school in Danville, Virginia. His son Trey played football for the Virginia Tech Hokies.
