Kung holds two certificates of distinction from Trinity College London in the UK, where she also studied naturopathic Medicine. She incited violence aboard Star Trek: Discovery, fought alongside Jessica Chastain in Miss Sloane (2016), a political thriller about lobbyists in Washington, and rose to the ranks of Congresswoman in Designated Survivor.
