Professional hockey coach best known for serving as the head coach for the Anaheim Ducks. He was previously an assistant coach for the Toronto Maple Leafs and the New York Islanders.
He was a student at Colby College. He later became the school's assistant hockey coach.
He was awarded the Bob Kullen Coach of the Year Award in the year 2009. In the year 2018, he was named as the head coach of the Colorado Eagles. In the year 2005, Cronin replaced Bruce Crowder as head coach of the Northeastern Huskies of the NCAA. Cronin inherited a team that graduated almost all of their key players from a 15-18-5 team and had little hope of competing in the short term.
