About

Celebrity chef, restauranteur, and philanthropist internationally renowned for his modern Australian dishes featuring French-inspired culinary elements. He is most reputed for founding Bistro Guillaume, including its original prestigious location at the Sydney Opera House and its locations at Melbourne's Crown Casino, Crown Perth, and Paddington. In the year 2021, he was designated as the culinary ambassador to Crown Sydney and he has authored recipe books such as Guillaume: Food for Friends and Guillaume: Food for Family.

He studied under the mentorship of Michelin-starred, internationally famed chef Joel Robuchon in his home country of France before relocating to Australia in the 1990s. One of his earliest and greatest achievements in the culinary field came after he was asked to manage a restaurant named Bilson's (later named Quay) in Sydney. Within just a year, he had improved the eatery's status to Two Hats, and by 1998, he had helped it become one of only a small number of restaurants in Sydney to earn Three Hat Status from the Australian Good Food Guide.

Some of his many television appearances include a run as in-house chef on Iron Chef Australia, guest spots on MasterChef Australia and MasterChef Junior Australia, and as a guest-host of the SBS series French Food Safari. He is also known for hosting the Plat du Tour gastronomy program which airs during the world-famous Tour de France bike race.

In June 2023, he married shoe designer and heiress Tamie Ingham. He was formerly married to Sanchia Brahimi; however, they divorced in 2016.

In December 2013, he joined fellow celebrity crew members Karl Stefanovic, Larry Emdur, Phil Waugh, and Jude Bolton aboard the superyacht Perpetual LOYAL for the 2013 Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race.
