Notable for her roles as Elin Dekkers and Marie-Claire de Ruyter in the respective Dutch television shows De Co-Assistent and Feuten, Verboom is also recognized for her work in the films Quiz (2012) and Gone Back (2013).
Before making her screen acting debut in the 2004 movie Snowfever, she won the 2003 Dutch Elite Model Look contest and studied philosophy, economics, and film at Amsterdam University.
United States audiences are perhaps most familiar with her performance as Eva in the 2005 comedy movie Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo. An accomplished visual Artist, she mounted an exhibition of her work at the Amsterdam Gallery in the early 2000s.
She spent her earliest days in Belgium and the remainder of her youth in Uganda, Sudan, Kenya, and the Netherlands.
She appeared with Cameron Daddo in the 2008 American thriller Drifter.
