Doctor who launched her health and fitness blog The Food Medic in 2013 while she was earning her degree. The food and lifestyle blog started as a way for her to educate and inspire herself to become healthier.
She was earned a bachelor's degree in medical clinical sciences from the University of South Wales before completing her Doctor of Medicine at Cardiff University.
Her blog spawned a cookbook and fitness bible The Food Medic and she has become a certified personal trainer since launching the blog.
In October 2017, she celebrated her father's birthday alongside her mother and posted a photo with her mother to Instagram to commemorate the occasion.
She spoke on a panel for Women's Health UK's Fit Night Out in October 2017. The panel was moderated by Montana Brown.
