Chinese artistic Gymnast who won gold in the team event and uneven bars at the 2008 Summer Olympics. Additionally, she won National, Asian and World championships between 2008 and 2010.
She got her start training at the Shichahai Sports School in Beijing, China in 1997.
At the 2010 World Championships, she scored 16.133 with 7.4 difficulty, one of the highest scores ever recorded in women's gymnastics.
Her parents came under suspicion by many members of the international press for allegedly lying about their daughter's age.
She was teammates with Yang Wei on the Chinese women's gymnastics team at the 2008 Olympics.
