Her late husband, Herberto Gut, founded the company in 1976. It debuted on the Spanish stock market in 1987, and Gut died in a car accident ten years later. Her son, Christian Gut, is Prosegur's CEO, and her daughter Chantal Gut sits on the board. With 2015 sales of $4.2 billion, Prosegur has a presence throughout Europe, Latin America, and Asia.
