English fashion and portrait Photographer who rose to fame under the working name Rankin. In 2009 the BBC ran his hour long documentary Seven Photographs that Changed Fashion.
He studied photography at Barnfield College Luton and the London College of Printing.
In December 2000 he launched the quarterly fashion magazine RANK.
He married Actress Kate Hardie in 1995 with whom he had one son. The couple divorced three years later in 1998.
In 2013 he directed Miley Cyrus' "Adore You" music video.
