American actor best known for his Daytime Emmy-winning role as Billy Lewis on the soap opera Guiding Light, a role he played from 1982-2009. He has also appeared on other popular shows such as Law & Order and Miami Vice.
He attended Cornell University and made his TV debut on The Tony Randall Show in 1977.
He suffered a minor stroke in 2009 while working on the series Venice for Crystal Chappell.
He married Actress Valerie Hawkins in 1992.
