NHL center and former first rounder that was taken by the San Jose Sharks in 2017. The very next year, he was acquired by the Ottawa Senators via trade in September 2018.
He first began playing hockey as a member of the Oakland Junior Grizzlies youth team. He would later go on to receive a college scholarship to play hockey at the University of Michigan.
He made his official NHL debut while playing against the Montreal Canadiens on February 22, 2020. Unfortunately, he and his team lost the match 3-0.
Although he was born in the Oxford, Michigan area, he grew up living with his family in Germany. His father, Dwayne, played hockey professionally for 15 years.
