South African rugby fullback who played for the Natal Sharks from 2005 to 2013 and joined the South African national team in 2006.
He made his provincial rugby debut with the Natal Sharks in 2005.
He was the top try-scorer in Super 14 play in 2007.
He was born in Stellenbosch, South Africa.
He and Francois Steyn both played for the Natal Sharks as well as the Springboks.
