Mexican pitcher who signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers as a 16-year-old prospect in August 2012. He was named the Dodgers' Minor League Pitcher of the Year in 2014.
The Dodgers paid an undisclosed sum of money to his team, Diablos Rojos del México, in order to finalize the signing.
He competed for the World team in the 2014 ALl-Star Futures Game.
His father is named Carlos Urias.
The Dodgers also signed Cuban outfielder Yasiel Puig during the 2012 offseason.
