He was a former football player who played wide receiver and defensive back for the Terriers at Wofford College and briefly played for the NFL Combine in 2012.
He was scouted by a Photographer while surfing and suggested he create a modeling portfolio. His modeling career began shortly after in 2012.
He has an older brother named Jef, and a younger brother named Javan. His cousins are Jarrod, and Lukas. They are all in a band together called The Skipper Room.
