Perhaps best known for her starring role in the Showtime comedy series Episodes, she has had recurring roles in other notable shows including NCIS: Los Angeles, 'Til Death, Trust Me, Colony and The Game. She also appeared in the feature films The Skeleton Twins and Gone Girl.
She graduated with a degree in musical arts from Western Michigan University. She developed an interest in theater at the Anchor Bay school's performing arts club.
She wrote and starred in a short film called Last Night. She earned a third degree black belt in tae kwon do.
She has four older brothers. She created a documentary about her family.
She starred alongside Matt LeBlanc in Episodes.
