American author and broadcast Journalist who is best known for her work as a correspondent for NBC News in New York City. She is also an anchor of MSNBC Live and reports for a variety of other news platforms through NBC News and affiliates.
She attended the University of California, Santa Barbara and graduated in 2005 with a degree in Philosophy. She began as a broadcast Journalist for a variety of different networks including KTLA and The Weather Channel before she joined NBC News in 2009.
She has won several awards for her broadcast journalism including in 2017 when she received the Walter Cronkite Award for Excellence in Journalism.
She was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Her mother and father were also journalists.
She was known to be dating Keith Olbermann from 2006 until 2009.
