Keeree Kanjanapas was born in Bangkok, Thailand, Thailand. Scion of a wealthy Thai property clan, Keeree Kanjanapas is the founder and chairman of BTS Group Holdings, operator of Bangkok's famous elevated Skytrain. Run by his eldest son Kavin since 2015, BTS is part of a consortium that won bids for two mass transit projects in December 2016. In a new foray into hotels, BTS agreed in February 2017 to acquire Vienna House for $350 million, with a string of properties in Europe and Asia. Other interests include media firm VGI and a joint venture with SET-listed developer Sansiri to build condo towers along mass transit lines. It also owns digital-services firm Rabbit Internet, which has teamed up with Japan's Line Corp. for an e-wallet called Rabbit Line Pay.
