Greek small forward who became a star in the Greek Basket League and won back-to-back Euroleague Championships with Olympiacos in 2012 and 2013. He made his NBA debut with the Houston Rockets during the 2014-15 season.
He played youth basketball with Proteas Grevenon and Aris. He made his professional debut with Aris during the 2008-09 season.
He won gold medals at the 2008 FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship and 2009 FIBA Europe Under-20 Championship.
He has a brother named Nikos.
He won two Euroleague titles with Olympiacos teammate Vassilis Spanoulis.
