Boston-based chef de cuisine who competed on the hit Bravo reality competition show Top Chef in 2012. She worked her way back into the competition in Last Chance Kitchen, and eventually took home the honor of Top Chef, becoming the second female to win the show.
She was a model during her high school days. She earned her Associates degree in culinary arts from Le Cordon Bleu in Chicago.
She became the chef de cuisine at Stir, located in Boston, in 2012, and left the position in March of 2014.
She was born in Seoul and adopted at the age of 4 months by a Michigan family.
She was judged by Emeril Lagasse on Top Chef.
