Leonard Walter "Len" Buckeridge (15 June 1936 – 11 March 2014) literally worked until the day he stopped breathing. Having trained as an architect at Perth Technical College, Buckeridge established his own building business in 1960 in his home town of Perth, Australia. Later on, he opened the factories to supply the building business. Always having in mind his next big deal, Buckeridge spent 10 years planning a private port that will cut the cost of imported materials and permit the export of what he made. The port is his unfinished business along with a succession plan for the Buckeridge Group of Companies, the third biggest home builder in Australia.
