Former All-American and Collegiate National Player of the Year that attended Texas Tech University until 2023. Shortly after graduating, he began his professional golfing career in the Men's PGA Tour. He has competed in the RBC Canadian Open, John Deere Classic, BMW PGA Championship, and the 2023 Ryder Cup.
He was once considered the 37th-best golfer internationally as a teenager. While playing for the Swedish youth national team he placed seventh at the Junior Players Championships.
Although he eventually chose to pursue golf, his first passion as a kid was playing soccer. His childhood dream was to play for Liverpool FC.
He is the son of Mia Aberg and Johan Ungesson. He also has a sister named Linnea.
