Indian Director most notable for his 1999 suspense film The Sixth Sense. He then went on to direct the films Unbreakable, The Visit, The Village, Signs, and The Happening.
He graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in 1992.
In 2015, he directed the pilot of the thriller/mystery series Wayward Pines.
He married Bhavna Vaswani in 1993; they have children named Saleka, Shivani and Ishani.
His hit film The Sixth Sense starred Bruce Willis in the lead role and he also directed Willis in his 2000 follow-up film Unbreakable.
