Rugby manager who began coaching in 1997 for the Canberra Raiders.
He had a successful playing career from 1978 to 1994, playing for Souths, St. Helens, and the Canberra Raiders.
He was inducted into the Sport Australia Hall of Fame in 1994, and the Australian Rugby League Hall of Fame in 2003.
He married Debbie Meninga when he was 19, but they divorced; shortly after he remarried.
He began coaching at Queensland in 2006, and was highly praised by his captain, Darren Lockyer.
